SYLABUS FOCUS

Our program offers formalized training and the quality of our education is that of university standards. The students that complete our course will be fully competent to work on a professional film set or production. With that being said this course is in no way like sitting in a class room. We facilitate our training through workshops that are dependant on group interaction and expression of the individual. This prepares our students for real work situations and the kind of training they will receive at tertiary level.

There will be theoretical work but the main focus of our workshops is to apply and practice the theory as the students learn it. The practical work will always address issues that directly affect our students and will always aim to involve other school members and activities. The work which our students produce will go up on a YouTube channel created for their use only. We also submit the best works for consideration at short film festivals and screen them on local television
